On this day, approximately 39 (cough) years ago, our lovely princess, Cinderella was born, and the world was blessed.
To commemorate this enourmous occasion, I am throwing a birthday party for her majesty. All MB posters who know her and love her are invited. Admission to the party requires three things:
1) Write a post to the princess telling her how glad you are to have her in your life, or how she has helped you, or what a difference she has made in your life.
2) What kind of chocolate are your bringing to the party? Please use GREAT DETAIL!
3) Send an ecard to the princess if you have her email address, or add one to your post, or do something creative so she has a memory of her Great Day and her great friends.
Thank you all--and everyone...WELCOME TO THE PARTY!!!!

As the hostess, I will begin this party!
I have known her royal majesty for almost two years now, and she is definitely one of my best and most appreciated friends. She was there for me when I was losing my mind, when my H was having his A...she was there for me when I would cry all night and felt so darn lonely...she was there for me when I was just learning MB principals and starting to work on ME and not fixing him...and she was there for me when I would try to reconcile and then have to move out Those were some pretty dark days. But from her royal highness, I learned that joy can creep back into my life, and that children are really angels in disguise (or devil's--depending on the day), and the hormones can be funny, and that laughing heals a broken heart, and that Pity Parties are best when attended by friends, and that cranes made out of paper can last a lifetime.
I am SO GLAD that the princess is in my life, and I thank God for her every day. She loves people and loves connecting with people. She is smart and loving and intuitive and sensitive...and when I grow up, I want to be like her. It is a priviledge to have Cinderellas as a friend, and I am so grateful to have had that honor.
(passing out lotion kleenex)
Okay...here's what chocolate item I am donating to this party: Seven Layer Chocolate Cake, also known as Chocolate Sin. There's actually very little "cake" involved in this chocolate concoction. The first layer is crumbled chocolate oreo cookies for a "crust". The next layer is chocolate mousse to help hold it together. The next layer is finely chopped Reese's candy bars. The next layer is white chocolate mousse--for color variety and to hold it all together. The next layer is a chocolatey, fudgey stuff--kind of like a really rich brownie. The next layer is thick choocolate "syrup" but that thick kind that can almost stand by itself. And the final layer is shavings of Hershey bars!!
OMG--to die for!!!
And finally, I would suggest that her regalness look in her email box, as there appears to be a delivery there!!
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Cinderella}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
Happy Birthday, princess!!!

Well, darn! I don't have the email address--but:
I am grateful to her Highness for opening the Kingdom of Caerlon to me. It has provided the only ray of sunshine on many gloomy days and a wonderful opportunity to escape my life and pretend for a while! It's been my mental lifesaver.
As for the chocolate, I am bringing boxes and boxes of ferrero rocher chocolates, hazelnuts enrobed in a rich hazelnut flavored chocolate cream surrounded by a crispy chocolate wafer shell dipped in cholocate covered chopped hazelnuts! It is simply to die for. The first box belongs to the Princess on this special day but the rest are up for grabs!!!

Ahhhhh, My Princess is having a birthday. It is and honor and a priveledge to give you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY (((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))).
How has the Princess helped me, well besides keeping me in stock with colorful balloons. That there Princess along with others helped me find myself, again. She re-introduced me to the humorous silly side of life and for that I am forever in her debt.
And may I be so bold as to say that you don't type a day of 28........
Hugs, Thoughts, & Prayers

I say, lets have a lawn party. I will bring the jarts, an old sport of yesteryear, and if any WS decide to crash the party, we can all aim the Jarts at them. Then, we can inflate a large pool in the back yard, and playnakid twister with the mat on the bottom of the pool. Finally, we can get some super soakers, and play nakid super soaker capture the bikini. The only requirements are bussums and butts. If you one or the other or both, you can play!!!!!!!!! [ July 26, 2002, 01:42 PM: Message edited by: sportsguy ]

Cinderella, for a board member that hasn't posted nearly as much as most, meaning me, you have ALWAYS, always, ALWAYS acknowledged me and been at my side. You are one special lady!
I'm working on learning the royalese language so someday I can join the Kingdom your highness.

(((((CJ))))) Thanks for throwing this wonderful party. I LOVE chocolate and could use some tonight. You give the best parties. And thanks for all the kind words. And I need the recipe for "Sin"!
Frankly, Ah, the combination of hazelnuts and chocolate. You can't go wrong there.
JTW - I love Dove Bars. One summer, on my morning break, after having taken orders and collecting money, I would drive to the concession stand in a park near my office and get the dove bar order filled, before they were available in grocery stores here, and take them back to the office. Then we would have icecream parties at lunch. Those were fun days. (Except working for Leon Neon.)
Sing - the 75 yearbook picture of me wasn't so bad. Wasn't kindergarten a wonderful time?
Bill - You are such a delight to have here. Even if I did have trouble finding safe storage for my foil wrapped 'balloons'.
SG- Jarts. Never played that one. But underwater naked twister would be novel. I guess you wouldn't have to worry about your anatomy drooping.
Ragamuffin - right after we fine JTW a role in the kingdom, we can find you one. Unless you know of a position for which you would like to apply. I am the princess and I can create any position I desire.
I have the best friends.
Pass some more of that Sin stuff.

Cinderella -
Well I'm a little late for the party - seems to be a habit of mine lately, but my computer has been down for the past few days.
I didn't want the day to go by without wishing you a very Happy Birthday!
I don't have any chocolate to bring because the chocoholics in my family, of which I am not one, have eaten it all, but it sounds like you already had a wide assortment to chose from.
And whether your Ex appreciates your birth or not, it's safe to say that we all do, so hears to much happiness for you in the coming year!

Cinderella!!!!!!!
Happy birthday, belated though I am!!!
I am bringing the Violet Crumbles!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, for those who don't know, a violet crumble is hard honeycomb dipped in chocolate. And they are delicious!!!!!!
I am sorry I was late, a little crisis at the headquarters here, but I will get back to the kingdom soon. I am sure there are some things that need investigating!!!!
Yours in investigative anticipation,

Hey, why don't we get together, hire a couple of sitters for our collective horde of children, go to dinner and a movie, or go dancing - what I call 'conversational dancing' where no one dances with anyone, everyone just dances. (I do believe Chubby Checker should be a national hero - he gave us a dance that people didn't need a partner for.)
Then we can have the Choco-rama.
Anna, RG, and Nina. Thanks for all your kind thoughts. All you guys, and guyettes, are wonderful.

Oh, that's right - that wasn't kindergarten, that was second grade. I remember that year. And you fell down and scraped your knee and what's that boy, with the blond curly hair, kissed it for you.
