thanks for all the prayers, I needed them. went into court today without my attorney. He was suspended, dont know why, found out that X knew about it he works in the same town as him. Judges secretary told me when I showed up at court. didnt get upset I was ready to take on his lawyer if I had to, Had all the paperwork ready to go. Im sick of this man & ready to go on with my life, he wasnt there today. My lawyer had called a stand-in for me. She was great but didnt know anything about the case, X lawyer wanted to go ahead with the case today, Judge said no. He then wanted the judge to let the case be oral. Wasnt too sure about that my lawyer said he wanted to retry the D. Judge said NO, he had heard enough. She said this was in our favor. X attorney admitted that the sale of the house had nothing to do with spousal support not sure why he was telling X to go for it. X wanted half of the sale of our home, no spousal support. Guess he was trying to get more money out of x. I ask her to be my new attorney. It was hard trying to talk with her at her office, our son kept telling her all the bad things dad did. I hope our son will forgive his dad one day its too early now, he is still hurting. It hasnt been easy for him, he knows what our life was like before OW. now X is trying to get him to meet her & to make her part of our family. He was with me because X wants half of his college money, I was told he cant get it. Its not in my name, its in his name with his 28 yr old brothers name. x will have to go after him to get it. all day coping papers for her, she said we will have no problems with this case. Ive got the PI reports on X & OW. they bought a car before both were D, x gives her home address as his for the contact. OW is giving X parents address as hers. We dont have to be at the next hearing our lawyers will do all the talking. Mine will have all the information she will need to show that X lied.
