I found out by accident Monday that my WW had an appt with an attorney. She doesn't know that I know about this.

I went and saw an attorney today. WW has threatened to take the boys and move out of state with them 1800 miles away. If I want to prevent this I have to file a petition for divorce and a stop order so that she can't leave. I am considering moving back in our home after being gone for the last 6-7 wks. If I do she will throw this threat in my face again. I would have to move in and file this petition within a few days of my moving back in. This would protect my custody rights if she goes ahead with divorce.

I know this could and will be ugly. I don't see it as an option if I don't want her to continue to hold this over my head. I also think that if I'm living in our house that she will not continue to have OM over.

Need some input. I am stressing over this and probably won't make any moves for about the next 7-10 days. At that time I will have the chance to calm down (saw OM pull back his car into our driveway last night at 11pm). I will have seen my counselor again and I have an appt with another attorney next Thursday. She is supposed to be tough.

Thank you and God Bless.

It was advised that I put the above post here on the Divorcing forum. It was originally posted on the GQII side.

I am fed up with all of the lies (to my face), deceit, and coniving that WW has been participating in. I am sick of her and her actions. I am not going to let myself get back into that weepy place that I have been in for the last two months.

I will have to file a petition to divorce with a stop order to keep her from leaving the state with our sons. There is no legal seperation in our state.

I think I have gone right on through plan A and fell into a plan B / filing for D at the same time.

I will wait until next Thur to make any moves. I will have had some more time to mull over this and talk to the attorney that I would like to hire.

This coming Sunday is the anniversary of her son's death. It will be my last act of Plan A. I'll do my best to be nice to her that day.

She just came over and dropped off the boys. She asked me to watch them so she could go off with some of her old co-workers tomorrow. Likely story, I don't believe much that comes out of her mouth any more at all right now. Bi***!!

Any place where I could find some good Plan B letters? Let me know.

Thanks for the input and support. God Bless

Well, from someone who also needed to make those types of decisions while in the throws of Plan A, I way that you need to do what you have to legally, for the kids. If you don't stand up for your rights now, then you may lose them. WS isn't thinking about your feelings, so you can't think about theirs - especially if you are actually at a stage to file for a divorce.

Just be civil. Emotions run high in divorce proceedings. Try to remain above the fray, but take care of yoruself and don't get taken advance of by WS.
