I know, I'm a copycat. Sorry bout that.
Going a bit nuts this morning. Mom's dog died in my van yesterday morning, Daughter broke her thumb last night, I have a settlement conference at my STBXH's lawyers today that I'm totally unprepared for, our big boss is in town and now I've overslept and the kids are late for school.
I did ask God that I wouldn't sit around and dwell on this lawyer thing today, so I suppose I got what I asked for. Lot's of distractions.
Please pray for me today as I work out the final details of my divorce. Meeting is at 10 eastern.
Thanks
Lynn

Some days, the best thing that happens is seeing that day end. So sorry about your Mom's dog! Losing pets is such a rough time. You're probably in your meeting right now as I type this. Sending peaceful thoughts and prayers your way.

Thank you all and thanks and Glory to God.
My settlement hearing went exactly as I wanted, well exactly as H and I had agreed last Oct 1st. It amazes me that the lawyers didn't really think we had an agreement.
It leaves me with alot of debt but some equity too and all my profit sharing ( which was my main concern).
9 days til court then I can truly start my new single life and not worry about whether or not XH is pulling some BS or trying to mess with me.
Also, I got D an appt with Hand specialist this afternoon so I don't have to sweat that while I'm out of town. My mom is handling the visit for me which helps her by getting out of the house. She is greiving very badly for her dog, who was just as important to her as my kids are.
I've told this story before but my D and the dog were the same age. When D was about 2 and she had a bad cold, sinus infection thing, we were at my mom's. Jake, the doberman, was licking D right on the face, mouth, etc.
My mom said " Now Jake, stop that! (I'm thinking good because it was grossing me out) Then mom continued with " Jake, don't lick the baby, you might get germs!"
From then on, I knew the dog was living the life of a king. He will be missed. Thanks for the well wishes.
God is good. Now if a situation for a good friend will resolve itself in a positive way in the next few days, life would be so good.
I'll miss you guys while I'm gone but I'll continue praying for each of you daily.
Lynn
