I have been divorced for a year now.My kids are with their mother. The problem is,her behavior in front of the kids, I believe, is detrimental to their mental health. She had an affair during the marriage, and is still with the OP. The kids tell me stories about their drinking. I know this to be fact. She passed out at 1 of our daughter's games, and has shown up at others intoxicated. They tell me about seeing the OP fondling their mother in front of them. The OP has spanked our son, and has said things to him, which are totally inappropriate. What can I do?

I think you have a mess on your hands. In some places, once one parent has custody, there's not a lot the other parent do unless the custodial parent can be shown to be an unfit parent. But who's to say the judge will agree.
How close do you live to the children? See them all you can to establish best relationship possible with them. How old are they? Are they old enough for the courts to let them have some say in where they live? Can you get x to let you have them for longer stretches of time. If she's got a real problem, she might slowly surrender them to you.

I know my children have benefitted from their counselors. Costs me a bloody fortune but they need it. So I do it. Yours could probably use it too. I think all children whose parents go through divorces need it.
Talk to an attorney. Do you have abuse going on? Neglect? Do you have evidence?
