Well today I dropped off the prelim. paperwork at the attorney's for the legal separation. STBX has not done a damn thing so far.
She finally did get a job and is looking for an apt. (she is currently staying at the house of a friend she met at the methadone clinic, who, by the way, is the cousin of the 24 yr old OM she is having an affair with).
I had to arrange for pre and after school care for the 8 & 10 yr kids. Had to remind her about the open house tonight, she forgot.
She wants me to help pay half of her rent. I am already paying for all the child care because her job only pays 8.50/hour.
I am betting she will keep her job for a couple of months, get bored and start thinking of excuses to leave the job. She kept saying she wants to go into the Army reserves and go off somewhere. I just nod and say "Uh-huh...". I know if I don't help her, she will not do it by herself. Besides, with her past drug abuse history, I don't think they will accept her.
Anyway, I am rambling, but I needed to vent...

She said he offered but she felt in "inappropriate", and that I should be the one helping since we've been married 14 years (btw...she said for seperating property, I can make subtract the last three years since she put me through so much crap these last three years)...

Gee, uhm, that sure is might uhm, big of her to admit to the crap she put you through. As for the inappropriatness of taking money from the OM, she sure didn't think it was inapropriate to sleep with him did she? JMHO.
