Here I am crying again. I feel extremely lonely. I see couples at the store and they seem so happy and I wonder why A and I could never seemed to agree on anything.
I have decided to file for divorce and I wonder if I will ever feel loved again.
A and I got married Feb 2000 and since the begining we had many probelems with his jelousy and my constant demand for help in the house.
He left me for the first time in March 2001 and has returned and left again about five times. He says that he loves me (and I love him) but we cannot seem to make it work out.

This time he left around the middle of June and he has been acting as if he wants to date me. He never plans anything with me, but expects me to be available for him when he calls in to see me on the same day.

When he leaves he goes to his mom's and I do not think he is having any type of affair. Can this ever work? We are always arguing about something, often money. I have always respected him, but he seems to think it is Ok to swear at me and tell me ugly things because I want him back.

I bi ---ed for the first time yesterday, I told him I wanted a divorce because he was not going to take away the things I love to do.... I told him he was not a real man for running to his mother everytime we have problems. I was angry because I did not think it was fair he was mad because I went out with my girlfriends and he went to visit me at midnight. When he leanred I was not home he was very angry and said that he had gone out of his way to see me and here I was with my friends.

I am tired being abandoned again and again. He knowns he is the world to me. But now I have stopped begging him to come back like I used to. I have stopped looking for him at his mom's or sister's .. or aunt's. But then, how do I forget him? He tells me that I need to be patient. I feel unrespected and unwanted.

Hi,

Welcome to this forum but sorry for the reason you are here. Have you read the concepts on this website? If not, I would suggest that be the first thing that you do for yourself.

So that we can give you better support, can you tell us a little more of your story? No one can tell you wether this Marriage will work out or not, but we have seen success stories on this site.

You are not alone when you post on these boards ! EAch forum is different and the General Questions II gets more traffic than this one. I would suggest posting there. You are always welcome to post here, just wanted to let you know what is also available. When I first came here, there was soooo much. But I read and read and read.

God Bless,

D.

owl - I'm sorry that you are hurting right now.

I'm glad that you have found Marriage Builders and I hope that it can lead you to some answers.

Please read the information of this site, especially about Emotional Needs and Lover Busters. Even print out the questionaires and fill them out as if you were your spouse.

Try to find out what needs aren't being met in your marriage and see if trying to Plan A doesn't work.

You can also read Divorce Busting by Michelle Werner-Davis.

Another good book is Boundaries in marriage and if you are having self-esteem problems read co-dependent no more by Melody Beattie.

Counseling by yourself or with your spouse is always a good idea before calling it quits and counseling with Marriage Builders is even better.

There is help out there. K
