This is what I have to deal with.
I have been e-mailing Ex today about him seeing the kids this afternoon.
He tries to threaten and pressure me into doing what he wants, I say no.
I arrive at my parents house for lunch - and who is there - yes ExH. Of course the kids run out to him and he says he just wants to talk about the kid's schedule.
WE CANNOT TALK. TOO VOLATILE. HE KNOWS THIS.
He even blocks my parents driveway with his Suburban.
I try not to say anything bad in front of the kids, except for just take them(my two older boys).
I drive around the block and ExH is gone. And the baby is sick today, more stress, and all ExH says is I just wanted to talk about the scheudle (negotiations over the e-mail were not going his way) - well if that was the case, why did he come to my parents - to leave with the kids of course.
He is a monster! And the court better tell him to leave me the HE double hockey sticks alone. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" />
So, of course he ruins yet another holiday for the kids. I'll survive, but they hate the scenes he causes. He's not a good dad. He is not a good dad.
Thanks for the vent.

Vent on. It's ok. I understand. He couldn't get his way, he had to try another way. Plus this way he could SEE you. You see, they may not be getting any feedback from us at all, but when they get to see us and then have a confrontation, then they feel kinda a reverse love thing that makes them continue. Almost like, if I can get her mad then she still loves me right?
ARe you B'ing him?
Next time he does this, call police or have your dad walk out and say that "we are asking you to please leave and let our daughter have some peace now. Enjoy your holiday time w/your W and your new stepchildren. Your own children will be fine right here enjoying the day in PEACE."
Don't confront. Dont give into that stupid thing. They want this. Blocking the driveway? Is he an idiot? He wanted to take the kids? I don't think so. He knows when his visitation is.
Maybe Dr. Powers (Austin like guy also) just wants to have one, huge happy? family for the holiday. Or this may really be the case-- he is sick or getting sick of taking care of children he didn't raise, children that are not his, children that are in his care only by virtue of his sin. Those other poor kids, the OW's are innocent and my heart bleeds for them also. They are also ripped apart. He may be thinking that he didn't do so good after all. And HE DIDN'T.
Keep being yourself and be strong. I listen. I understand and so do many, many others here.
Bye, J.
