I'm finally back at work after three and a half weeks off and I don't know how to act! I had a blast with the kids in Dallas and meeting up with FranklyMyDears and her family. I can't remember a time that I had more fun.
I made it back in one piece but had a terrible burn and stayed sick for the next few days, missing a date I had set up before I left.
Not a total loss though. I finally got a chance to go out with this young lady and we had a good time but I really don't think she is my "type".
My Ex found out about the date and dealt me a pretty good bit of misery but hey, that's the way it goes!
She has gotten really interested in what I do and how I do it now-a-days. She has started to ask if there is any chance of us getting back together. She has already started to go to a C and wants to start looking for sites on the net that might be helpful. I can't give her any answers to the questions she has. Now I feel like I am in the fog or just don't love her anymore. I don't know which. I guess I will figure it all out in time.
Well just thought a few of you would like to know what has been going on... [ September 06, 2002, 04:31 PM: Message edited by: Roughneck ]

Roughneck -
It's great that you are doing so well!
Be careful this weekend with all of the tropical storms out there in the gulf!
You said that your ExW was now coming around a little bit - remember the stats here at MB about how long the fog lasts - 6mos. to 2 years. Your ExW may soon be another statistic. I've also heard of alot of spouses who after the divorce suddenly wonder why they ever let such a thing happen.
It's probably too early to tell if she's serious, but if she is there is always the 4 rules of recovery, and she'd actually have to follow them for there to be any sort of real progress to be made. It would be a hard decision to be sure, but more likely she's just jealous of what she lost!
I did also want to ask if you remember where you posted your child custody agreement - if you remember, can you let me know, if not, don't knock yourself looking for it. Thanks.
