Just wondering what states everyone on the DD board lives in, it would be so much fun to someday meet up with everyone. I am so glad i found this board, and feel like there are so many of us going thru the same things, and having the same feelings, (and the same ex's) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" /> I live in Illinois, near St. Louis, MO

I live in Long Island, New York. Not divorced, but I guess that's where it's pointing now. Been a member here for a long time and usually wrote on Emotional board, but was broadsided very recently. I won't go into details here, but I have known from past experience that people of like situations banding together can be a wonderful thing, for moral support and personal growth.
I wish everyone a wonderful ending to their pain they have lived through...may it all be worth it when you find the end of that rainbow!

So far, I've been the only person to admit I'm from WV! LOL LOL It really is great meeting people from the boards in person. So far, I've met 7 in person. Some got together almost 2 years ago in Nashville, and 6 of us got together in June of 2001 at Virginia Beach. It was great!! Hello - I am from Massachusetts and I am getting divorced on September 18 - well that is my first court date - but everything is pretty much down so it might be done that day or soon after....

I am the lone Middle Tennessean.
I am also the person who organized the January 2001 get together. Once had a great vacation to Akron/Cleveland area because I thought we could do SeaWorld for less than in Orlando. And my mom used to live in NW Florida - my children love to eat at Boy On A Dolphin in Pensacola.

Born and raised in the great state of Texas!
I can't stand country music, I don't speak with the sterotypical Texas twang. I don't own cowboy boots, although I have no problem with those who do. I rode a horse a few times, but that was at church camp in the beautiful mountains of New Mexico.
I never thought that I would ever be married to a man who loves his truck instead of his wife. Oh, well...not much longer.
I don't think I could ever live in a place where you can't get good Mexican food. Thank God for chips and hot sauce!
Anyone else from "The Big Country"?
