I was born in our nation's Capital, Washington, D.C. and now live just 20 miles outside of D.C. in Maryland!!
It's great to meet everyone - even if it's under "unfortunate" circumstances!
God bless!!

Ok, I'm finally getting around to this post.
Southern Louisiana - as opposed to Roughneck's Northern Louisiana.
I hear they are giving out mosquito repellant at the borders to all who enter if you want to visit- that West Nile is one bad dude.

Well, Gina [STBW] and I live in Sinus Valley... oops, I mean the Lehigh Valley in Pennsy. Born and raised here for me. She is from Sylvania, Ohio. She was born in New Guinea. Imagine that. My oldest son has a field day with that one. He is just like his father, what a jerk!!!
G and I were both very happy to meet other MB'ers at both the N'ville and VA Beach reunions. Great job again Jane-Elise. So, where's the next spot? HI MITZI!!!

Born in NC but lived in SC since I was 3. 33 years so I suppose that means I'm basically a South Carolina gal, through and through.
I'm in upstate SC, about 2 1/2 hours from Atlanta GA and 1 1/2 hours from Charlotte, NC. God's country but also Atlanta Braves, Clemson Tiger and Carolina Panther( we won 1, yeah) Territory and home to an extremely big NASCAR following.
I can be in the mountains in 45 minutes or at the beach in 4 hours. However, I have to agree with my buddy Billy, the Kansas Sky is the most beautiful thing I've seen in a long time.
By the way, I love Iowa. I spent 6 days of my vacation there this summer. Yes, on purpose!!!!
Good night all. It's way past my Eastern Standard Time bedtime!!!!!

Well, if you twist my arm, I could organize another get together but I'd probably do it here again. You could handle it. Besides, that hotel did have a great hot tub.

Hi All, I'm a little late on this one. I live in Denver, Colorado... "Rocky Mountain High". I'm contemplating moving after my "D" though. I have a few irons in the fire, just want to make sure I don't get burned by any of them before I make any moves. Stay Strong! Wallace

GIIC, I'm on the Gulf Coast & last had a boy my YS's age die of West Nile. My son didn't know him, but a number of his friends did. Bad stuff. We take B-1 to repell the mosquitos. All my kids play(ed) soccer here & it works better than repellent and not harmful to kids or adults. Do you ever come to NW Fl for Vaca? If so, let me know. I occasionally come to NO, but not sure if that's the part of LA you are in. ----------------------- Check out San Destin, FL Anyone up for this? D.

I am from Long Island, NY as is my 11 year old son from a previous marriage. My WH is originally from Rochester area, and moved here to be with us, then we married. WH moved in with X best girlfriend of mine 7/2002. No contact for awhile now, deep fog maybe? I'm not running after him whining how I miss him or how I love him, even though I do. Working on me now.

Lots of lakes for fishing. (Mosquito's too, not much of the bad ones, knock on wood, need winter soon, to kill them off)

It's me, the dude who keeps losing his password heheheeeee. Well, for now, it's good ole Fort Worth, Texas - Land Of The Original Longhorn. To quote a bumper sticker I saw last year: "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could". That about says it all. History of Visited Places: Born in Virginia Beach, lived in Rocky Mount NC, joined Army went to SC, OK, AZ, TX, and AK (stateside posts) Spent 6 years in Germany, got the 'all expenses paid' tour to Saudi Arabia for Desert Storm I (we all know Desert Storm II is just around the corner), spent time in England, Hungary, France, Czechslovakia, former East Germany, Italy, yadda yadda - you get the basic picture. Wound up right here in Texas - truly "Another Country" - I wouldn't live anywhere else! God bless America (and while He's at it, bless Texas too) Peace to all, and may God bless every single person here at MarriageBuilders. I live in the SW area of So. CA and AZ. Think Robert Plant of Led Zepplin, Alice Cooper, David Spade, Stevie Nicks and (gag me with a rhinestone -- Glenn Campbell) and there you are!
