I sent a reply to you in my thread about my STBXW.
She is driving me nuts! Her MIL called and I found out she is telling MIL lies to get her mom to send $. I told MIL truth and she is pi__ed at her D!

Pete, Try to stand back and let them sort it out themselves. I am no specialist here, but it could get much wierder if you stay involved. Your MIL is no longer in the dark about W motives. Now back down and off. Whenever you have to deal with MIL, be courteous and kind but that is it. I have had no dealings with IL's b/c I would rather be a silent lady than an arguing bitter STBXW. Think it places me in a much better position. No card on my bday or mother's day or to son at house confirms that I should not contact them again unless they apologize to me. And to son. Will not force anyone to do anything they do not want to do. Plus, as i said earler, BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER.
