And so the not-so-great Prince Humperdinck escorts the kids all the way to the car tonight, so I know he has something he's burning to tell me, although I asked him to refrain from speaking to me in the presence of the children.

I get them in and buckled and close the door so they won't have to hear whatever gem he comes up with.

Tonight it's "I probably won't see you tomorrow, so, Happy Anniversary!" and he walks away with a feces-consuming smirk on his face.

I look at him like I don't know what he's talking about. No response. That was probably best. Although what he WAS speaking of is that date last year that the judge signed the Consent Judgement of Divorce, and I wish I'd had something clever to say back. Again, better that I didn't reply, but ...

"Oh, I celebrate that every day!"

"Wow, for once you remembered an anniversary!"

"Um, one word for you ... DETACH ..."

Any more? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Then... in your sweetest voice and disarming smile, you add... "Have a nice day, (whatever his first name is)" - then turn and walk away.
I GUARANTEE YOU it WILL get his goat - promise!

PS - This worked for me every time, try it, you'll like it. You'll find that your resentment and hurt will somehow begin draining away as you really mean what you say to him - Have A Nice Day...

ICK!

All of who were married to people like PH have to go through this. I was just told by someone who works with my STBX that he is still not giving up on destroying me. All I can say is just GO AWAY. I told the guy that ever since stbx left, I had asked for 3 things. STBX fought about EVERYTHING. I have the 3 things and I am done. I needed to protect the girls, keep a house over their head, and get him out of my business. Now I need to make sure that I can keep the three things running and he is still fighting about anything and everything. It is so weird that when they decide to go, that they are the ones who cause the most problems and never move on.

Here's a big raspberry for all the PITA exes out there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

An end note...You should use a hole puncher and make some holes in construction paper for some confetti...When he returns. Celebrate and throw some into the air. It does not harm anybody and can get your point across hilariously...
