My wife and I have been married for 21 years. She said for me to move out 3 months ago to stop drinking on the weekends. I stopped dead. We have 2 kids. D 17, S 8. She got to like no responsibility on her weekends off. She said she loved me, but was not in love with me. She has no other man. I am pretty sure of this. Son wants to live with me, wife won't let him. Daughter is going to live with me. Wife is angry because I shut off money due to close proximity of final decree. My problem is that I am still madly in love with her. She is being cold and unresponsive at this point. She is broken up over daughter moving out. I am looking to reconcile/remarry after she gets her head together. I'm wondering if it is MLC. Any words of wisdom?

Why are you two divorcing? Who initiated the divorce?

Did you drink excessively? Something else? Why is she pissed? What did you do or not do?

.... something is missing in your story , what is it?

Fill us in so we can support you properly.

I drank on the weekends. Binged. She drinks also, not nearly as much. She said to quit. I did. She said it was too little too late. I think hitting 42 made her sit back and look around and get scared. She said that she tried for a long time and couldn't try any longer. She won't hardly talk at all to me. She is okay when we talk about the kids. She won't talk about the relationship at all. She says it's over. Pretty strange with her and me being Christians. She won't go to couples counseling.
