Just wanted to give an update on what is going on in my crazy life. Well my Husband decided over a month ago that he wanted out, and that he was going to sell our house and leave me. Well I have worried non-stop, went to counseling by myself, and been working on myself and the changes I needed to make. He missed our 1-year anniversary, which really hurt me bad. Well about 2 weekends ago, I noticed that he started coming around a little more. Well last Sunday we went to Wal-Mart together, I know that is no big deal, but it was a start. Tuesday he invited me to go to a friend’s house with him for his birthday dinner. We went and got along fine. On the way home that night he told me that we were not selling the house and he did not want to get divorced. He said we had a lot we needed to work on. He is the one that needs to start showing me some changes. He put me through hell for the past month and a half and now I want him to prove to me that he wants this marriage to work. I hope and pray that things will stay like this. They are in no way perfect or even good-but it is a start. I hope that it works, and that the rest of you have success stories, if this turns out, because I am sure it's not quite smooth sailing yet. Thanks for all of your replies, thoughts, prayers and advice <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

LShip,
Congratulations! I'm very jealous (my wife had no comment on our first anniversary, either). It is good to see that you still have some reservations about giving in completely. Will he be seeing the counselor with you now? I hope you can work as a team to overcome whatever has gotten in the way of your relationship. Good luck, and God bless.
