I am at wits end with my husband. I have tried everything to be at peace and be happy with him. I am tired of being berated, belittled and humiliated. I have suggested counseling since BEFORE we got married, which had an engagement of 2 days, but to this day he will not go. He says that going to counseling is depending on man instead of depending on God. I don't know what else to do. If I am wrong, I am willing to go to counseling to show me myself and to get the help that I need. But he won't go and he says that there is no way that I"ll ever get him to go. I feel that divorce is my only option since I am so unhappy. What should I do?

Have you been open and honest with him? Have you told him that you are not happy and that you are thinking of D? Give him a chance to know how serious it is. Scripture says that believers are to go before the church to try to resolve a problem. Talk to your pastor or a christian counselor. Use the counseling from this website. Go your self if he wont - they may still be able to help. Read Love must be tough by Dobson and Power of a praying wife (just a thought that he could read power of a praying husband and you two could discuss). Pray together and you truely pour out your heart in prayer with him to the Lord.

Listen to the Rosbergs - Americas family coaches radio show. www.afclive.com thy are great.

Please dont give up. God meant for marriage to be forever likely, your husband still loves you but is having some problems that need to be resolved, give him a chance to understand where your heart is in a loving but honest way.

God bless
