A woman I used to work with just lost her mother today.

Louise is an only child and has lived with her mother for the last few years, since her dad died after a long struggle with cancer. Yesterday morning when she left for work, everything was fine. During the day, her mother collapsed outside in the yard. She had a stroke. Today they discontinued life support.

I know this will be hard on her. Please keep her in your prayers. Ione was a nice woman. Louise is allright, too.

Please tell Louise that someone in Nebraska is thinking of her today and including her in my prayers.

I am an only child and my mother's legal guardian. It can be a tough pull when you don't have anyone else to lean on.

We buried my 91 year old grandma Tuesday. She had fallen and broke her pelvis 7 days prior to her death on 9/13. This week has been a roller coaster of many memories.

Do tell Louise I am truly sorry for her loss.

Gayle
