Got a call from Austin today. I am resting up for my night out on the town tomorrow night as I emerge from my coccoon of solitary confinement into the real world. Austin said, "wow, can't believe you are at home tonight." I said that I don't even usually go out at all. He then told me where I should go. He named a few of the area's top nightspots or places to "be seen". I said, that's a great idea. Thanks. I'll rmember that tomorrow night when I have my girls' night out. I am so excited...Then he says that I should go out more often. Then I fog him back and say "You are right Austin". It is time I got a life". "I'll start it tomorrow. Tomorrow is another day" A GA and gone with the wind joke here..He then said "it's ok if you have a date' and I said that I am so picky that I have to do a census first then decide when and who.." Those statements are so totally unlike me..It threw him back into the really wierd fog bc I fogged him better...

Then he said he wanted to get together with me for a few hours next week to go over the settlement. I said, "do i need to call my attorney? she/they would like probably to be present. And Austin, I know you mean well, but because I am not a lawyer, I need their advice before I do anything you know.." He said that we would just be talking..And I replied and said that after the just talking was accomplished, he'd be leaving. We would be just talking and that is that. He then said that we had to do this..I said yea, because you want everything your way. He said "what?" And I repeated it. Doing what he used to do. Talk about getting on with new life and then turning it around on him. Then he said "why do you say that". I said, "this whold D is about you." He said "why" and I replied, Austin IT IS WHAT IT IS. Then I finished my formula and said that I had to get off the phone because I had to call a friend of mine who was expecting me yada yada yada..

He now thinks I am probably calling some guy and
I hope that he finally sees what life will be like when I decide that my vows were shattered but that I am not and am moving on now.

After his horrible verbal bashing this week, I am not ever giving any power to him anymore. I am taking it back. Let's see how he likes this now. Living for new beginnings for son and I. Each day I am praying and rowing for shore. God is helping. Can feel His presence. And I am almost afraid that one day I will not be able to remember what it was like even in the good times, being married to him.
