For those of you who were tempted, and I know I was. Revenge isn't needed, they will get whats coming to them. Karma is very real, and God don't like ugly! Read on. After H moved in with her I gave the ow(chicken head) a list of what was going to happen to her life, I told her to mark my words and I am sure she is hearing my voice in her head repeating the words "he is going to destroy your credit" Of course it has happened, much sooner than I thought it would. I was meeting with my lawyer and we were looking at the US courts web site for H's bankruptcy, he tried to file a chapter 13 back in May which was denied and the trustee told him to file a chapter 7. I went home to review his forms for accounts that we had together (only 1 on there), lucky for me I had been keeping a lot of the finances seperate for the past 4 years . Anyway, while on the Web site I decided to look up just to check if Chicken Head had followed suit and see if my prediction had come true. IT HAS!!!! Ms Homewrecker Chicken Head, has been sucked dry and had to file BANKRUPTCY, she tried a Chapter 13 like H but was also denied and told to file Chapter 7!!!!! It was all there, her house, car, bad checks, unpaid utility bills. He did just what I told her he would do. It reminded me of where I was when I was with him and how much better I am now that he is gone. It has been a struggle to get over him and sometimes scary being alone but I have done it and I am fixing my credit and learning that alone is a good thing for the right reasons. I got a fortune cookie that said it all for me "Life Always gets harder near the Summit" too bad her journey was downhill!!! To steal a phrase from Mary J Blige's Poem, Forever No More, Thank You God,for setting me free and Thank You God for giving me back me!!!

You are truly a Living Tribute to the adage, "Live well-it's the best revenge". I'm glad this has worked out financially for you. I also hope it has worked out OK for you emotionally also. Thank you for the uplifting post! In a way, your story is similar to mine; however, after walking thru my Divorce in '98 - I LET my ex have nearly everything we had accumulated in nearly 18 years together, BUTT (yes there's always a big butt!) she had to have more... She refused to let me get the few measly things I was 'entitled to' in our Divorce Agreement, she locked everything of mine up in a shed and called the Police when I came over to retrieve it. So I told her, "You have a nice day, and keep what's left, I no longer want it. God is going to RETURN TO ME everything I lost in this Divorce." It's now 4 years later. She has had to sell off some of her precious antiques, lost the new bunkbeds and mattresses we bought our kids (they're sleeping on a mattress on the floor these days) and she's spent the last 4 years griping to my Family that I 'don't give her enuff money' yadda yadda. Her new husband had a stroke, her property taxes doubled, she's still driving that 'hoop-de'ville' '91 car we owned when I left, her real estate deal of her selling the house fell thru so she's stuck in Alaska... With my wife, our house is paid for, we drive a '01 Jeep (under Factory Warranty), and our house is filled with rustic surroundings, crafts, oil paintings, etc. Now, please, don't think I'm bragging, as there is so much more to life than material things. The point I was making is - God kept His promise to me - He HAS replaced everything I lost in Divorce. But the ONE SINGLE THING He replaced is far more precious than any material thing is... The wonderful lady I met in '99 - my lover, my Soul-Mate, and my wife! I thank God every day for her. She's everything my former wife was not. Like I said... Live well - it's the best revenge! Harold
