BC, I think the letter is very fair considering you are divorced-it's not meant to be friendly, yet the ex may be defensive about it.
My ex helps with clothes and extras. He never complains, his wife does though. His income has doubled and I haven't taken him back to court for more support, so she should KEEP HER MOUTH SHUT. I could put a damper on her standard of living if I was vendictive-I get by though. I didn't expect to live entirely off him when we divorced-but he should do his share as a good father, right?

XPB - Good letter! You're taking the HIGH ROAD by not stooping to his below-the-belt 'jabs' as you call them. I also applaud you for keeping it short and simple - and sticking to your guns and telling him it's NONE OF HIS BUSIINESS when he tries to get nosey. I'm just sorry you have to deal with someone like him - especially when he loved you once. My ex-wife became completely unreasonable and -dare I say it - DELUSIONAL - because she became "A Legend In Her Own Mind" - sounds like your ex is well on his way down that "it's all about ME" Road. Keep the Faith. Keep praying. Never give up. Know that (besides me) there are many folks on these Boards praying for you, EPB. God bless you. Harold PS - I looked at your website - Good job!
