Hello Everyone,
My posts have been in the "Just Found Out" section, but it looks like I will be moving to this section now. I'm wondering if anyone in California has experience about divorce laws and how the courts look at one of the parties moving out of the house. If I was to move out after requesting a divorce would the courts see me as abandoning my two sons?

The definitive answer would be obtained from a lawyer, but first you may want to check these two sites. They have specifics state by state: Divorce Info and Divorce Net From what I've read in these boards, it is not a good idea to move out if child custody could be an issue. Good luck!
