My wife and I are beginning what we both hope will be as amicable a divorce as possible -- meaning that discussing major issues ourselves has not yet led to any contested issues, we plan to work with a mediator and then have our respective lawyers advise/review things like tax consequences BUT let's hope, not negotiate for us.

Our finances are relatively complex -- we have three family companies, parts of which will be considered marital assets under state law.

We can work up spreadsheets, but I was wondering whether anyone had any experiences or impressions of the "divorce software" that is available from www.divorcesoftware.com and other sites that sell the same programs. (I am not talking about the expensive programs sold to lawyers).

Feedback appreciated!
