I woke up this morning thinking I might be in the twilight zone. My EX is flying to Vegas to get married this weekend and low and behold I have a date!!!!! This should be quite the weekend. Yikes! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Well I think he's quite handsome. He's tall thank goodness as I'm almost 6 foot myself. We talked the other night on the phone for 4 hours and honestly I beleive we could have talked all night. We have a lot in common. In fact, it's almost creepy how many similarities there were. I'm really excited but nervous too because I haven't been on a "date" in 18 years. I'm not expecting more than to make a new friend but I can't seem to wipe this silly grin off my face!!! Thanks for the well-wishes! Sorry but I don't plan on sharing the deep details here on MB. Update for anyone interested that it is possible to have a life post-divorce.
Date was great. Honestly I can't think of anything that would have made it better. Even had a great waitress and great food at dinner. I got Roses for the first time in years. Even worked out to get that extra hour of sleep last night as he didn't leave til almost 1am. No awkward silences, no forced conversation, we have so much in common. Quite simply it was great!!
I'm looking forward to date #2.
Be careful what you ask for because God does answer prayers!!!!

Got an e-mail from date this morning saying he had fun too. I'm very happy today.
