Huge loss today. My lifelong best friend's mother passed away. Suddenly this morning. She was like a second mom to me. Lots of loss has been endured during the last three years for me. Please pray for my best friend and her family now.

Also, I sent a brief but to the point email to Austin about it. Said that I was leaving for home in the morning and will be back before monday morning so I can get son from school.

Austin called me and surprised me. He said on cell on my way home from work, "I am so sorry to hear about it. IF I can do anything or help you in any way let me know. IF you have any trouble on the road, call me. I thanked him and was brief.

That was very unlike Austin to say that. But I am not buying anything from him at all. Nope. As long as he is non repentant and in fog, there isn't any hope for his change or anything so I continue on with blinders. Focused ahead only on the future.

I am hurting alot tonight guys. Getting ready to pack, do a bit of housework, and get ready to leave tomorrow at lunch time. Prayers for a safe trip home ok?

I am very sorry for the loss of your friends mother, I think we all have that second mom that we adored.

I will pray for safe travels for you and all of those that will grieving the loss of your friends mother.

It was nice of Austin to acknowledge your loss, I think you handled the situation correctly!!!!

God Bless you as you travel!!

Thanks so much Dawn. It was hard first b/c of my loss, secondly b/c I heard from WH. Hard to accept any kind of acknowldegement from a man who is non repentant and can in an instant explain away his marriage.

But he is in the fog and believes he is a good weekend dad. And that it is now ok being that he is happier now (?) despite losing everything after OW dumped him this summer. I guess I am in a way grieving b/c I have to go home and see all old family and friends. Many I haven't seen since I filed and they are gonna third degree me, although gently, while I am grieving for yet another loss. This is gonna be hard. But I get to stay with grandparents and visit with them.

For so long I have prayed for a miracle with my marriage. That ow would break up with him and that he would see the light. She did. He didn't. And I am still trying to piece this whole life thing back together. Have been doing a pretty good job, on the whole, except for today. Cried inbetween all my patients at work. The drive is boring and tiring. And I have had grieving up to my neck these last three years.

Morning Peachy,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know experiencing death of a loved one and going thru possible D in tandem feels overwhelming.

I think seeing your relatives, esp your grandparents, may end up being a blessing in disguise. They love you, and surely know this all may be too much for you to digest, and grandmom's and grandpop's are always so nurturing. Try to relax into the visit and enjoy being loved.

You have my prayers,
Jo
