About 1.5 hours ago my family lost one of our own. My cousin (40yo) had battled ALS for about 3 years. The last 6 months he's been confined to a wheel chair and the only muscle control he had left was the ability to whisper.

Yesterday afternoon the family was told that he wouldn't make it through the night. My cousin was slipping in and out and had lost the ability to communicate.

His 19yo daughter showed up around 8pm, she had to come back from college. And my cousin, I'm sure with the Lords help, got the strength to whisper privately with each of his children (19, 17, & 13) before passing on.

I know his battle was long and that he is in a much better place now but I ask that you pray for his family as well as mine.

((((Bill))))

I knew he was sick and recovery looked unlikely. I'm sorry to hear of your loss. For those of us with faith in God, death is not the end - but is merely a portal. However, the transition can be tough for those left behind.

It's hard on those of us left here because we feel the loss and will miss them. Your family, especially your cousin's kids will be in my prayers.

God Bless,

D.
