Having just found out Wed. that stbx was going to fight for custody we have been scrambling to get ready for court on Monday. I had heard he might have a criminal record from before I met him... we investigated.... and discovered he was convicted of molesting a young boy, charged with it another time but found not guilty. During the first year of our marriage we were house parents at a boys' ranch and he was accused of molesting a boy, charges weren't filed for lack of evidence.
I am in shock. We have two boys, ages 7 and 11. Waiting on my lawyer for advice.......don't even know what to say about visits.

Has he ever gotten help for this???? I guess not.....
I'm sure that you can use this information in court though.
This may be a blessing in disguise, howeverm it is upsetting and scary and shocking.
