I did a little shopping on Saturday and bought a gorgeous XMas Ceramic Victorian Village from Sam's. I have wanted one for years and they finally were carrying them again.

Went to church yesterday. I don't know about anyone else in similar shoes - but getting my behind back in church has been very good for me. It's connected me back with God and the community as well. So many forget that our church, pastor, community are all here for us. This has helped me tremendously.

Had lunch with a friend - homemade black bean soup and salad - YUM.

Also bought some cute fluffy chenille slippers.

Last night I put on my PJ's, new slippers, made some hot tea, got comfy under a quilt with the pooch at my feet and watched the Sopranos. (Ok - don't flame me for this one.)

Anyway, it was a nice relaxing weekend. I wish there were a few more hours in the day.

So, what did you do for yourself?

Hi llama: I went shopping yesterday afternoon and bought two dresses at unbelievable sale prices. I spent several hours reading a murder mystery and spent all day Saturday with my friend at her daughter's birthday party. Lots of fun!!
