X is court order to pay all medical for our son, even co-payments. Now he wants me to send him the dr statement & he will pay the dr. directly. Thats not what the D papers say. X will not repay me, Ive sent copies of dr. bills, checks where I paid he still wont pay me. Now this crap. Does X think our son can get medicial treatment and not pay upfront for the services. We live 350 miles away, cant just call X & say drop a check off at Dr. office. Why do they feel they still need to control? X thinks he can still control this family. I hate to tell him but this is not his family anymore. Its a choice he made when he left us to be with MOW. X can never have any control over me or my son anymore. We are free from his abuse. X has gotten away with so much being a cop. He feels he is above the law. Believe me X stole money from a wallet turned into him while on duty. Police report made against another person for the crime. Having sex with MOW while on duty & getting caught didnt get him fired. Its not unusal for Atmore Al police dept. to do these things. D.A.R.E. officer of 10 yrs tested postive for cocaine. Wasnt fired just ask to leave the Dept. X lefted before he was fired. Now X is a parole officer with the state of AL, at least he is with his own kind of people.

I was told through counseling that my soon to be X will try to control me during his early years of divorce. Until I say, quit, or ignore him. I would go to the courts, and have H put on the stand for non payment of medical bills. Have the medical Dr. bills be sent to your husband, per order of the court. There has to be a way for you to get the medical treatment and not be taken by your husband. Talk with your attorney, he shoudl be able to help you in this matter. Yes, it will cost money, but at least you will get the medical bills paid, and youwon't have to fight for payment back.

thanks for your info about X trying to control us during the early years. I just thought he would go away with OW & leave us alone. Have new attorney will be talking with him on Tuesday. will be asking the Judge for non-payments & to move our childsupport from Al to Fl. X wants to control everything he is court order to pay. 13 1/2 yr old Son will be asking to remove joint custody.

I, just like you have an order for my ex to provide medical coverage for our daughter. he hasnt done so. has no intention of doin so. It is SOOOO true that they will try to control you! I have been reconciling with my ex (call me stupid!) and found out today that he's been with dating services the entire time!! why try to control the situation if it's not even what you want???? it's all about control!
Girl...take him to court and get what's due to you. The longer you sit ... the more he gets away with...the weaker you get .....AND HE KNOWS IT!!!! trust me....I have been weak too.
