Has anyone ever heard this before...I can't remember? I recently caught my H cheating...found hotel bills...and relatives and his co-workers of 18yrs came to me and told me about the affair.(2 different women a month and a half apart) Everyone was sickened because they did not want to see our marriage go down the drain. Anyway..I sit on the info for awhile until i had enough to confront him. Last night I did. We have been at this all night..he is in so much denial. First it was everyone is lying and now it is I can not remember. He can remember things from 1992 up until now, but can not remember if one went on his business trips and now wants to go to a hypnotherapist to see if he really did this stuff. I want to save our marriage, but it is hard to work at it if he keeps insisting he has done nothing...even when the facts are there some in black and white. I finally got the hotel to confirm that the bills where correct however he insists that they are wrong and everyone is out to get him. Now he is throwing in my face how wrong it would be for him to go to the hypnotherapist because the bible worns against it. It was his idea! So now what do I do ...He makes me feel like I am going out of my mind and that it is all me. We have 3 childern..he tells the youngest last night...mommy and daddy might get a divorce..what the heck was the purpose of that? I refuse to fight or discuse this in front of the kids and I will not upset them. How many more games does he expect me to play? This is so hard and I am trying to hang on to any peace of mind I have. But he keeps chipping at my very soul. Tells me wants to die and it is my fault for not believing him. HELP!!!!What shoulsd I expect next?

You may be dealing with with manic depression or some other mental instability issues. Can you get him to go see a medical doctor? These are very serious mood swings. And you don't need him telling your children stuff. That just doesn't seem rational to me. Take a kind and caring approach & tell him you beleive him & hope that seeing the doctor will help with memory issues. At least it would be a start. <P>God Bless you... Take Care.
