Obviously, depending on the time frame, I'd be interested. For the Mid American peoples either in St. Louis or KC. I live about 3 hours west of KC....

Oooh! I was just thinking this the other day. A MidWestern get together. I think it would be great!! But it would have to be a weekend - Sat or Sunday.
St Louis is a bit of a way & I'd be chicken to drive by myself. Of course I've been thru St. Louis once before with someone else driving & loved it - the arch & the Budweiser brewery. They must have alot going on for the Holidays too.
Any chance for Kansas City somewhere? Ooh, the Plaza after they put the lights up!

Well, I'd be happy to plan a Saturday or Sunday in St. Louis or St. Charles if anyone is game. I can find cheap hotels or Bed & Breakfasts for those who'd want to stay overnight and we could include lunch and a tour of something in St. Louis if you'd like. Let me know. December some time?

I wouldn't mind but it couldn't be any further than St. Louis- I looked at mapquest and it's about 71/2 hrs. to get there, barring weather , traffic etc. DBD

These are 2 cities i wish i never have to visit again, yet these are the places i will never be able to forget. I grew up in VA, moved to kc after getting married. 3yrs in kc, came to visit parents, then thats when my stbx started having an affair with his bestfriend's gf in st.louis, he use to go see her every weekend, now the live together in kc, and the judge is making me fly back and forth so that H can have visitation with daughter. guess who's responsible for the tickets, me! my h makes 3x what i make. anyone got any advice on that. why am i responsible for this.
