Tonight is the deadline for people who are in need of help this Christmas by the non-official MB Angels. IF you are in need, please do not hesitate to email me by tonight! There are a growing list of people willing to offer toys, help, vouchers, etc to those that truly have needs. I am trying to make this as honest as possible, so I ask for your real name, children's ages, and phone number if you wish, so I can call and verify your information. I also would request that you are a posting MEMBER.
I know some people have said they are scared to ask for help but really, I am not going to judge you and I am not going to give out your name to a bunch aof people if you dont want me to. This can all be done anonymously.
I am also doing a similar drive for my local teen shelter, so I am busy, and need to wrap this up <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
The rules are as follows-
Each family will receive adoptive donors of 3-4.
It is up to the donors to provide within their means what they can to the family. I will email a list of things needed for the donors kids for Xmas. Shipping can go one of two ways-
Donors can ship directly to the family, or a care package can be made for each of the families, and the items shipped to me, then shipped to the families. I will pay for shipping-that is my donation. Either way, the receivers screen name will not be revealed-they will only receive their real name and address for shipping purposes.
After all of this is said and done, I would request that the receivers make a post under a newbie member name to verify they received the donations. Again, I know this is a big, strange world at times, and I will not stnad for this to be taken advantage of, or any of the members that are willing to donate out of the goodness of their own hearts.
I really want every MB member to have a great Christmas, especially those going through a traumatic time and need help.
