This is making me crazy!! My W. and I bought a townhome about 4 months ago. Now she wants out. It's in both our names. She want's to live elsewhere with a brother of a friend. Problem is, she doesn't make much money and can afford to pay anything toward our mortgage. I don't want to live here because I commute to work an hour and fifteen minutes everyday so we can live in this suburbon area for her. Plus I don't know anybody here, all ties are connected to here. She basically wants to wash her hands free of this home and leave me either stuck here, or paying for 2 places. Here and a small place close to where I work. I can't afford that. If we sell, it will cost us a considerable amount of money which I would have to pay. We would not make any profit on selling. She wants to sell. I told her she could stay here and pay the same amount as if she would if she went somewhere else. Problem is she would have to get a roomate to make that possible.( I still would have to pay some money to make up the difference, plus pay the property tax. But she doesn't want a stranger coming in the house because she doesn't trust anyone with her cat. (letting it out, harming it...). Also she's worried about getting a bad roomate. So she simply won't do that. So what do I do?
1.Say goodbye. Stay here and get a roomate to help. and live where I don't want to live. 2. Sell, then pay the losses all myself. And live where I want and make payments to the now increased debt.
I'm so frustrated!!!!.......
