I'm actually spending most of the Holiday alone but will have my girls from sometime Thursday evening through the weekend.

Thanksgiving is actually one of my favorite Holidays. On Saturday, I'm cooking a meal for 50+ people and sit back and watch everyone enjoy. I also like to take the special opportunity to look at how blessed I truly am and to give the Lord thanks.

I would like wish all my MB buddies a happy Turkey Day and encourage everyone to look deep down in their hearts and find out what you are thankful for. Also Thank God that he led me to these boards and introduced me to so many special people.

I do ask that you keep our little MB community in your prayers of this holiday season. We have a few people, who shall remain annonimus, that are going through some new trials this season.

God bless you all and remember if God is for us, then who can be against us.

Happy Thanksgiving to you also !!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> It may be tough being alone with my children and not my husband -but in reality I know that he is the one loosing out - I am with the children for the day - him just for an hour or so - nothing is going to change in their holiday just that their Dad isn't going to be eating with them... I am sure that I will be sad - but I will try to be thankful, that I have wonderful friends, family, the great friend support group here - and my health - maybe with the new year approaching - we will all get a second chance at being happy... I too, would like to wish all of you here at "MBers" a very "Happy Thanksgiving" and I hope and pray that each and everyone of you finds peace and solace during this holiday.
For some... it will be the first time spending the Holiday without your spouse. I would like to extend a special prayer and blessing to all that find themsleves in this postion.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! and to all the MB community.

I am truly blessed and I plan to stop and reflect on that this year also.

I'm a bit bummed because I agreed to let XH have kids for the holiday and when they left this morning I knew I wouldn't see them again til Sunday. It was sad but heck, it'll make shopping a lot less stressful.

I will continue to ask God to pour his blessings out on the MB members.
