Well it started on Monday when my mom discovered that she had to be in Denver on Sunday the 1st and we were due to be traveling back from my aunts after Thanksgiving!!!! Sooooooo plans had to be changed!!!
My son wasn't going to be able to travel with us, I felt bad leaving him home alone!!!
Wednessday night I am still busy painting Christmas presents for those that we are visiting and making cheesecake and other things to take on the 6 hour drive!!! Am not happy as OD is not home helping as she is supoose to be!!!
The phone rang at 10:02 it was her and she said "Mom we had an accident!!!" My stomach fell, I stayed very calm and asked if she was ok! Her and her friend were setting on the curb waiting for the cops and the ambulance, they were both minors, it's required!!! Asked were she was and went to the scene, about a 20 minute drive for me!!!
They had taken her to the ER, she was on a back board I was a little concerned. She is fine!!! a little bruised and sore. I am very thankful!!!
We stop at Wally world on the way home and get the stuff for Thanksgiving dinner. Come home I continue getting the presents painted. Thaw the turkey in cold water, get another pie ready and the dinner rolls made.
Daughter calls her dad at 2 am, thought she had called the cell phone and she had called the apartment (His) but he doesn't live in it supposely, because OW does. I found this out Thanksgiving day!!! Not happy as I have not seen the divorce papers signed by the judge yet!!! This is a big No no for him and his job!!! Asked him about his location the night before, says yeah so!!! Said that we are not divorced yet, he says his lawyer said the papers were signed on the 19th. NOT!!!! had my lawyer checking this anyway on Wednesday, as it has been two weeks!!! I could scream!!!
Hadn't slept the night before as My YD was going to go with my parents to vist my aunt and she needed to be up at 5 and I hadn't gotten home from the ER til 2. So slept a while thanksgiving morning planned to eat about 3. OD is still sleeping!! Good meds they gave her!!! My son and I set the table and get everything ready. Says how he is glad we didn't go but sorry for sis's accident. I start eating and get sick, and can't continue!!! So son that was to be on his own and then isn't still ends up eating by himself!!!! I am feeling better today and OD isn't sleeping as much!!!!
Tried getting things taken care of about the accident, OD was not at fault so everything has to go thru the other insurance company, but everything is closed today!!!UGH!!! Weeks of sharing my car!!!!
Tomorrow is another day!!!!
