mom told me about a church giving food away, went with son. everyone was very nice, they prayed first then ask for $1 if you had it. We got around $35 worth of groceries. Thanks to local stores, I noticed sams club was a big donor. son picked out a chocolate cake, thats all he wanted. X is court order to pay half of son school & Dr. bills but wont pay he is up to $866. Today we were blessed twice, once with food, the other Legal Aide. They will handle our case. Legal aide said X has to pay me directly no one else. X was trying to control the money he had to repay me for his son bills. X can no longer control me or our son. X will have to tell the judge why he was not paying. Ive got all letter to him, one back from him saying he was not paying me. Not sure how long it will take to go to court. The only bad thing is escambia county Al. does not enforce childsupport. We have to ask AL. first since the D was there. Later we can ask Fl to help, we now live here. X makes over $45,000 a yr. we will be down to $490 month in Feb. after my spousal support of $333 runs out. Escambia county al is one of the poorest county in Al. most make under $12,000 yr. Courts will give childsupport but wont make anyone pay.

Myfamily - I really don't know what to say only that things will work out for the best - Hopefully you will get into court sooner than later and you will get the money that you need to get by.... I am sorry that things are so bad and will be praying for you and your son... Stay Strong...This is the season for Miracles.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Myfamily, How are you fixed as far as Christmas gifts for your kids (especially the younger one)? It is hard for me to tell from your signature line, with all the abbreviations, what your family situation is. How many people are you responsible for? Lots of agencies and churches "adopt" families for the holidays, and it certainly sounds like you'd qualify.

my youngest son is 13 all he wanted for xmas was yu-gi-oh cards, I put a couple of the tins filled with cards on layaway at walmart. Got them out yesterday. Granddaughter is 8, thank God I bought barbies when they were on clearance last yr. My oldest son just wants us to come to have dinner with his wife for Xmas. I do believe the courts will help this time. I just got back a letter mailed to OW house where he lives. I have to keep asking for payment before we go to court again & showing proof that it was mailed. I will be showing the Judge the letter that was returned unknown. Ive have the proof that he lives there, they bought a car before we were D together. X gave her address, OW gave a po box. All our legal stuff will be going to OW address where he lives.

My family, - with getting legal aide, you can have his paychecks copied, and all the legal things from his OW. Heck, if your husband is making that amount of money, he should be giving you the child support without any hassle.
Sorry this is so hard for you. Wish I could help. But I am not in a great position either. I will pray for you and your son. Go to your son and daugher-in-laws for dinner. They have invited you with their kind heart, open up your arms, and bring a little something, some homemade cookies, are chex mix. Just show them that you are so happy to be with them. Make them a homemade christmas card from you and your son. That is the greatest gift, something that came from your 2 hands, and tell them how much you love them.
Praying for you tonight.

My prayers are with you.....I am in a similar situation with my Ex who has played the control game with CS from day one (and it is all about control), the court was surpose to attach his wages so it would be drawn right out of his pay each week through the state and then I would get a check from them.(no contact with him at all great!) Well,he quit his job so it couldn't be done and now he is working under the table somewhere so its back to a week to week battle. I put a motion into the court and now have to wait for a hearing. Some people just can't see what they are doing to the people they claim to love and have loved. Their are people who can help you through this difficult time via church, help groups etc.in your area. Get him infront of the judge a.s.a.p. Keep your head up.
