It's been over a year since my divorce and tomorrow I go back to court for my Motion of Contempt against XW. She has not been honoring the full spirit of the visitation by denying me midweek visits with daughter. I am trying to get 3 weekends visitation "on" and 1 weekend "off". My daughter and XW live 3 hours away. My atty. says not to expect too much tomorrow as we will be required to have a meeting with family relations officers to attempt to "hammer out" an agreement before going before a judge. He is suggesting that we offer XW having 3 weekends per month in exchange for our daughter coming to live with me, making me primary custodial parent. This would be an effort to show how fair our offer is.
Anyway, I would appreciate your prayers. I dread doing this, but it's now or never if I ever expect a meaningful relationship with daughter.
Thanks everyone!

My prayers are with you. Please post an update either on the board or to my personal e-mail. Also, please consider extended time in the summer as a viable alternative, that way you could get more time, and it won't interfere with the school year. I'm considering the NYC lunch on the 28th, but it depends on our "visitation schedule".
Merry Christmas!!!!
