I've been married for 5 years, and we have a good relationship. I wouldn't think of leaving, and I really don't think that he would either. It's just that it's sort of a manipulation on my part. I had a not so great situation when I was young, but my husband doesn't know. I know if he did know he wouldn't want me, but I don't want to tell him, because I don't want to lose him. A friend told me to come to this site. The friend also says that this situation is the root of alot of my religion questions, but I'm just unsure. I really am not sure this post makes any sense, but maybe you can weed out something worth reading and tell me what you think? I'm sorry.

I can guess your situation and let me tell you this. I had a lot of different situations that led me to lies and shame when I was younger. I did not share these things with my husband at first, but as time went on I did. He turned out to be the strength I needed to face the hard facts. I was afraid to turn to God because of the things that I had done. I learned that he is a merciful and loving father that loves you no matter what. I confessed my sins to him and asked for his forgiveness and a peace washed over me. My life has changed and the things of the past that haunted me are no more...I hope you find your peace.
