I found this today & want to share it with those who will be blessed by it.

T'was the night before Christmas when all thru the house
standers interceded to God for their spouse

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
in hopes that their prodigal soon would be there

The children on bent knees alongside their beds
recited the promises of God in their heads

Someone was missing from their now humble home
and absence and heartache had set a new tone

Mommy or Daddy was no longer there
yet they felt the strong presence of God and His care

Angels surround them and give them protection
ministering spirits of love and direction

The world now gives counsel that their chances are slim
but God's word says nothings impossible with Him

Their advice is to move and find a new mate
"The Lord wants to bless you, a new life to create"

But we've elected to stand on trust in His Word
To wait and not doubt all our prayers He has heard

We know reconciliation is the ministry He gave us
while we were unfaithful His Son came to save us

He laid down His own life and lived for His bride
He considered her need and for her our Lord died

Satan and all of his forces believed they had won
as the world looked upon the shell of the Son

When what to their wondering eyes should appear
but a risen Lord Who had conquered death and all fear

With a Spirit of power that puts end to all strife
His Word is the way, the truth and the life

His covenant is far more important than pleasure
and He Himself said our hearts reveal treasure

If God gave His Son to redeem us from sin
How much more will He help us this battle to win

Our walk is by faith and not by our sight
We live to serve Him and do what is right

We're doers of His Word and not hearers only
Whatever the cost; no matter how lonely

We know that when all is said and all done
Our marriage is healed by the Great Faithful One

And I heard His still voice at the end of the night
God bless you my child and keep up the good fight
