I just spilled a full glass of Pinot Noir all over my keyboard and the floor. hahahaha
I guess since I am typing this, that my keyboard is still functional. My floor looks like a slaughter house. Put some wet towels over the spill and will get a steam cleaner tomorrow.
Anyway, I don't know what bothers me more...
The mess.....
Or the loss of a great wine...
Take care. Just a bit of reality when all things seem to be going bad. Lets me know that life really is comical in alot of ways... hahahahaha

I think the loss of the wine is the biggest lose here! You can clean the carpet... Hope you had a nice Holiday.

FC--I am so sorry for your vino loss. Quickie here: what was the vineyard and the year? Just wondering.
And I didn't get into the Chardonnay as I wanted to do. But that is what today is for. That and a good bubble bath. I am going to enjoy a bottle of my fav--cakebread vineyards. 1999. Awesome and oh so smooth. Plus with my cream colored carpet, it won't stain if I get sloshy and spill...lol...
Do you have a carpet cleaner? Santa should bring you one if not. Santa bought me a little one this time last year for just such little messies...

Haha,
Funny thing you should ask. The wine was David Bruce 1999 Pinot Noir. Absolutely excellent, but not good on cream colored carpets. Again, best with hearty steak type meal, and you absolutely can't top it.
Had it first in a tiny town called Ouray, (Your-ay) Colorado. You will understand the irony in this Peachy. Had an Onglet steak, which is just a great cut of tender steak from the brisket area. The sauce was a berry sauce with.... get this.... Pomegranite base... hahahahahehehehehe. Makes me laugh just to think about it. She was there and we had a great time.
Stayed at a little inn called Weisboden with natural steam caves and hotsprings. This was where we spent our first anniversary. Spent about three hours in the hottub that is fed from a waterfall from a hotspring in the side of the mountain. That was 10 years ago. Went back August before last for a little revisit. My mother bought it for us for our anniversary. That is when we had the steak, and the wine. The wine is even better than I remembered. I have had it a few times since then.
Anyway, my boys and I just went out and bought a ton of Christmas decorations and bought a carpet cleaner as well. Everything here is on sale.
Take care. Have a very Happy New Year.

Hi FC! Hehehehee don't feel bad - a few month ago I spilled a nice hot verrrry creamy cup of coffee right on my keyboard! So, I took the keyboard outside and hosed it off with the garden hose! I soaked it good. Then I put it upside down and let it dry. Works just fine... except the + key that still sticks... Harold PS - I'm on a laptop now anyway...
