I am new here, but am familiar with board. Here's the situation: H says he wants D. He says that "He is not happy, things are not going well in our reonciliation." He will not name anything specific and says that he is not angry with me about anything. But he refuses to do anything about it -- call an attorney, etc. When I am happy and upbeat -- which I try to be -- he calls it a sham. Had a major blow up last night over a former female EA who called the house. He insists that nothing is going on and I do believe him. At this point I believe counseling is our only option, but it would be like squeezing blood from a turnip to get him to go. Is there any hope? What can I do? We are still living together. Has anyone been here before? Help! Married 4 years separated 8/2000 reconciled 6/2002 Heading for D

Hi 1red...have you ever considered printing off some of the information available on this web site and sharing it with him? Like the basic concepts...showing him you are trying to change, use these tools to save your marriage....out with the old one (which neither of you were happy with) and in with the new one...the caring one....have him complete the emotional needs questionaire and use has much of the information as you can to help yourselves...especially if he is unwilling to go to counseling.....just a suggestion....I hope other more experienced advice givers respond to your thread...hang in there....someone will....
