Well this is my second postand after my first one was enlightened to find what support is out there. Discussions that seemed to be going in a positive direction at hmoe were not for the reasons I had assumed. That meaning that efforts were being made by each other to see the others veiws. I had commented on her change in attitude toward drinking and nights out after work which was one of biggest issues we had and that the A was maybe our final eyeopener. She agreed but also informed me that there would be another child which floored me as this was a duplicate sinario of what happened 13 yrs ago. The idea of learning from your mistakes has gone right out the window. I accepted it the first time as there was a slim chance that the child that time was mine. To date we have not confirmed paternaty but odds as child has grown seem in my favor. We have always agreed to find out for sure at some point. This time however there is know question. As our relationship was rocky already this just drove the nails in deeper. We both agree that we get along as friends great but as soon as the commitment is added she builds a wall. In any event I for my own sanity cannot go thru this again. She and I told the kids this weekend what was going on and she explained her situation to them. They reacted as we expected but it will take time and they are my priority now. The confusing part of all this is that this hole thing has become an eyeopener for both of us unfortunately to late though. We are talking and conversing without any problem and being more open about things and what brought us to this point. Her position is that we both love each other but it just doesnt click. Based on the position we are in now we have mutually agreement to go for the D but my heart is not behind my head.
