Folks,

Especially those of you who follow Cajunky's threads, Prayers weeks, etc., I want to discuss something.

Maybe it's not appropriate here, but I'm noticing a disturbing trend. It showed its ugly head in my email-box this morning....

For lack of a better term, I'll call it the "Battle of the Ministries." There are a few very good on-line ministries which claim to help BS's (not what they call them) "stand" for their M's and S's.

But lately they seem to be "warring" as regards what God would have the believer do! I'm not amused. It seems one ministry says you should NOT contact your WS, one says it's OK if "God has told you to." The other then comes back, and reiterates that they don't think some of the ministries should be telling people what they should or shouldn't be doing as pertains to their "prodigal" - blah, blah, blah.

Frankly, it is all turning me OFF. I look forward to going to all the minstries and helps I can get in doing what God wants me to do. It grieves me to think that each one thinks THEY ARE THE WAY and the only way, even to the point of pointing fingers accusing the other of telling christians wrongly!

I guess I'm asking if it's just me, or if others have noticed this, and ask that we pray it will STOP. God has used all the "Restore your marriage" ministries in mighty ways, and I believe satan is having a hey-day by getting them away from their primary focus to "war" with each other over which "method" is best!

GOD'S METHOD IS BEST. Period. WHEN did they all forget that? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

I pray we won't forget God in our walk, as some of our "leaders" have.

God Bless,

Lupo lady,

I just read what I think you are talking about. I don't like it when one bashes the other. There are many churches and there are many mansions.... so there are probably many ways to restore a M.

I for one have had God answer my prayers through something that I read on the internet.

However, I did see something that hit home. I have spent more time on the internet (mainly at MB) than in prayer. I have not prayed as much lately, but have had ebbs and flows before. There are times that I should be with my kids and I am here at MB keeping my sanity. Maybe that is better.

In our weekly prayer and fasting, I lift up all the groups and standers and those affected by it all.

Good topic

God Bless,

D.
