Are there any support sites/forums like MB's for Single Dads? Any ideas?

Try fathers4kids.org
but these are the radicals who support 50/50 custody.
Also, if you don't already go to one, try a divorce support group in your area. You'll find many people, both men and women in similar situations and get great ideas there.
Ours goes to baseball games, has picnics, etc. All events are with or without kids, because members have different weekend schedules.
good luck

To saddad, I'm just passing along what I've heard from others, and from what I've found on the site.

In our Rainbows class with the pastor, he talked about certain sites which promote equal custody without concern for the capabilities of the father. The pastor also said that he was one of the first to get full custody of his children over 20 years ago, unheard of for a male.

I personally was concerned that my H would find one of these groups because he is one of those people who would not be able to handle this type of custody - however, he's demanding it.
You probably dont' know my whole story, but I was a single parent in our marriage for 4.5 years, then he decides to pursue 50/50 custody.
Now we're onto psychological evals. - and guess what? The psyc told H that 50/50 sounds good, but is highly unlikely. YEAH!

There are many wonderful fathers on these boards, if I had been married to one, I wouldn't be on the D/D boards.

newly,

Hearing a little more of your story, I think I remember replying to one of your posts a week or so ago and I advised you to fight him on 50/50 if you don't think it's best for kid(s).

When I first read what you posted about "radicals", I was a little offended, being a hands-on, 100% involved parent (notice I didn't say father, because I think you're a parent first, regardless of gender).

sad dad

P.S. Sorry Porsche, didn't mean to take your post off on a tangent.
