Well, WGTT, Broken and I are all in the same boat. We are hovering in aprox the same time frame as each other and have similar situations, H's who have totally blown us away financially.
After paying bills tonite. I have 100$ to last me for the next week and i didnt even pay all the bills or go grocery shopping.
I spent the day looking around house to see what I had of value I could sell. I have to talk to my lawyer though. Im not going to sell something and pay off bills that partially belong to my H. Ill have to wait until things are more finalized. Anything I want to sell is mine alone
Except for the mountain bike I bought my H for fathers day. He's not getting it either. He rode it 3 times. We were supposed to go bike riding together, he was going to buy me new bike. Instead, he took off from work and went bike riding with OW. He's not using my fathers day gift with her!!!
Anyway, I was thinking about a bartering network. Wouldnt really work on line, but maybe in al-anon or my divorce recovery group or even my church. I havent heard of anyone doing this in a group situation, but maybe it could work.
Any suggestions???
I need things done around here but dont have cash, there are so many other divorcing people in the same boat that maybe we can help each other out
