I just need to get this off my chest.
1. The psychological evaluations are progressing, and H is really not coming across well in these so far. It sounds like he'll get far less PT than he expected.
2. Nothing else can progress until the psych evals. are done.
3. I'd love to sell this house before the grass starts to grow, and I need to figure out how to mow three acres, when AH (*******) has 10-15 mowers on the property, but refuses to let me use them or maintain the property himself.
4. Lawyer says can't force him to let a realtor show the house.
5. AH never filed 2001 income tax forms (signed) which have a $14,000 refund on them. I need the money to pay my lawyer. (Note: $14,000 isn't that great because each year prior, I'd struggle to pay about $10-15,000 in taxes that AH decided he didn't have to pay).

I'm really trying to focus on the positives these days, but seeing all the posts of people who are recently divorced is getting me down. I've been separated for 13 months, and feel no closer to D than I did then.
I am a better person and a better parent than I was then, and will continue to be - even if this D drags out even further.

Hi newly,

It can be discouraging to go through so much but just keep your focus. If you didn't have problems you would be in the grave. Keep envisioning the outcome that you want and don't let it go. Everyone timing is different. I have felt the same way at times yet we each have our own time schedule as things unfold.

D.

Thanks, I know that I can't control the timeframe. Everytime I look at my name I laugh. Yes, I was "newly" separated a year ago, but now it truly is laughable.
However, in 2003, I will be newly divorced.

A friend's situation clicked at a fast pace and she had her new life quite instantly. My situation, however, keeps dragging on, twisting & turning, etc etc. and no end in sight! I feel for you!

My confidence is that, there is a reason for all of this; God is still carrying me through and I will get through it! Even "this" chaos I seem to be in now is nothing compared to where I was at with H!...things are getting better!

May HE give you wisdom and grace to handle each step as it opens before you. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

I know how you feel, sometimes I am so depressed because this is taking so long. In my case there isn't even any custody issues or property involved. Its been 8 months and will take at least another 6.

I've been separated for over two years. 12-03-99 was the day WH moved in with MOW and I filed in 7-01. On 2-01, I had H removed from bd. of directors of our business, and I've been sending him $$ ever since... I have to look at it as a slow pay-off for his share of the business or it makes me crazy... I will have to sell our house to pay him off. I have no idea how much longer it will take before the Dv is final. I just hope it's this year...

Let's all pray for our divorces in 2003.
Oh, and since I'm listed as an officer on the corporation, I just got a call from a collection agency, he failed to pay his state sales taxes.
Yet, he thinks I have no rights to "his" business.

Praying for you - hang in there. You've come this far and every day is one step closer to closure and real healing.
