Most of you who have been around for a while know
that I try to sneak these newsletters out quick
so that you can have information that I think
will help you.
Well here is the courthouse scuttlebutt... I am
sitting waiting for some legal administrative
non-sense and talking with a pretty well known
divorce lawyer.
He is telling me about how the Internet has really
picked up his business....now I am all ears. He
starts spouting off stats about online affairs,
pornography, online homosexuality and a host of
other things he is using in divorce cases.
He told me that the Divorce lawyer academy actually
had some pretty high stats on this issue. So I
listened how he was using incriminating emails,
chat room records, online financial records and
all kinds of other stuff.
I did some quick online research on the issue and
here is what the Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers
has in stats:
1. New love interest met on internet (68%)
2. Obsessive porn viewing (56%)
3. Excessive time on computer (47%)
4. Excessive time in chat rooms (33%)
They also warned about spouses using the computer
to hack in to their spouse’s accounts or email accounts.
i.e. electronic spying.
Now most people who get this newsletter are getting
it off the INTERNET... So we need to learn to watch out
in what we do. One of the first lessons I teach you
is to keep your mouth shut and your ears open. Well I
am going to add a new lesson.
KEEP YOUR MOUSE AND KEYBOARD'S QUIET.
I receive ten page emails from people on their divorce
problems. If they send those to me...a stranger...they
probably send 10 page emails to people who can hurt them.
Remember your friends, boss, co-workers emails might
be subpoenaed from a divorce attorney....just like
my friendly attorney in the courthouse said he likes to
do!
