My WS is driving me completely insane. One day she is ready to sign Sep Papers saying that my Daughter will stay with me. The next I find out she has an ad in the paper for a baby sitter and now she wants to have her. Then when I told her it was fine I wasn't going to fight her I asked her if she could let me meet any potential baby sitters and she freeked out! She said I was trying to control her and blah blah.. I told her there was nothing wrong with our Daughters FATHER wanting to meet the person that is going to be watching her. She continued to tell me I was controlling her. She says I have "Controlled" her our entire marriage. The only control I've had is asking her to just let me know where she was going. Is it so wrong to want to know where your spouse is? I don't mean like call every stop light and let me know just a rough idea. Like hey, I'm going to the store.. Then if something comes up and your going to go somewhere else that could end up lasting hours is it bad that I would like to know? Please people let me know, am I a freak! Is this controlling? I worry when I am sitting home and I expect my W to be home from work at midnight and she doesn't show up till 2 or 3 or 4 in the morning. Is this controlling? Am I the only one here? I doubt it but, I do need someone to let me know before I flip. Sorry for the rant, I just need to know if the problem is me or my W. If its me I'll bring it up to my shrink next week. Otherwise I suppose he'll tell me the same as last week. "You don't seem to be the problem son" This is so frustrating!

Hey,
No flipping out unless it is for joy, ok? U R NOT insane nor controlling. When those accusations were leveled against me it threw me for a loop....for a while. Then I got smart. Told the then WS that if I am to carry such a ridiculous label (OW would not let me forget how supposedly bad I was), then I said I needed to do as they said. Reverse babble psycology here. It worked, I threw their own babbling words back in their face. I said if he wants me to be controlling then why disappoint him. I told him that I might not be good at it but if he will bear with me, I will become a dictator he would be proud of!!! LOL!
Shut up that lousy excuse. Even got an apology for it. OW went nutso since she couldn't use that one on me anymore.
U have the right to be a good parent and look out for the interests of your child. If she calls you controling let her know those are her words and you can't control her thoughts. But your request still stands.
take care, L.
