I had a tap in my house and her My mother and law threatend to have me killed and dumped off in the middle of nowhere. I wonder if I can press charges against here she is the one that is ruining my marriage to my wife.

I'm confused...what's a tap? If I understand correctly, someone threatened (on tape?) to have you killed? If this is the case, you should take this tape to the police immediately. This could be considered either 'conspiracy to commit murder' or a 'terroristic threat'...either way, nothing to play with.
I'm sure they were just blowing smoke but it's better to find out.

My mother-in-law is pro-divorce in my situation too. I wish she did not even know we were having problems, but my W thought that her parents needed to know before she heads off to a lawyer. I think laws differ, but do you have any friends in the police field that you could inquire about your situation(maybe someone on here knows)? The tap is probably considered illegal, but the severity of the threat may justify it's use. Of course if these allegations are made, you will have put the final stake in your marriage. I wish you the best, and hope that it was just a stupid offhand remark by her.
