Help! Im on my 2nd marriage. My first husband and i had a beautiful daughter, but he left me for another woman, after so much pain and counseling, I realized I was free (Biblically) due to his non repentive adultry. 11 Yrs. Later I remarried. First Christian man I dated, was thrilled. Wanted a Christian home for my daughter. There were warning signs about this man, but I felt God brought him into my life since he was a Christian, I ignored the warning signs. I used the warning signs as obsticales to prove my love. Desparate to have a loving marriage, I figured if we were both Christians, we could over come anything. That was 10 years ago and I have been so miserable. As my name states, Im numb, no longer hurting, just numb. My husband is very angry person, very selfish and demanding. He has not slept in the same room with me for over 6 years. He says Im repulsive because I've gained weight. He has gone through garbage to see what I eat! he never bonded with my daughter, she actually hates to come home from college because she cant stand being around him. He is cruel to her and runs the house like a dictator. She has a dog, but her decided she cant keep it, so my mother keeps it. He even threatens to kill it if we bring it home. Understand, it is a 10lb LapsoApso, and so dear and loving and house broke. he just changed his mind. He makes promises and never keeps them, ignors my child, and puts me down all the time. I know God hates divorce, but I feel like Im dieing. help me, what can I do? If I leave him, does that mean Im not really saved? Im ready to have a breakdown, help me.

One of the coolest things about Christianity is that “We are saved by grace through our faith and not through our deeds.” That being said, do you think that God wants you to be miserable for life? Do you think God wants you to not have a healthy relationship with your daughter?

Please take a moment and read Romans 8, 31 thru the rest of the chapter. Gather strength.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and yours, always.

I am sorry for what you are going through. This marriage thing can really suck sometimes, huh? Each of us goes through our own things, I cant really identify with what you are going through but my heart and prayers go out to you.

Ps.137:7&8 Though I walk in the midst of trouble Thou wilt revive me. Thou wilt stretch forth Thy hand against the wrath of my enemies, and They right hand will save me. The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Thy loving kindness, O Lord is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of thy hands.

God bless you
