I started plan B about 2 weeks ago, just before easter. My other 1/2 had left me in January to "figure things out" however that seemed to include dating someone soon after. I tried plan A with some results but she ended up telling me to move on and that it was over.
Within days of plan B, she started calling telling me that I am causing her pain, why won't I talk, she was selfish in leaving but at that time she felt she had too. etc... She called 3 times on Easter and again a week later. I told her that I was trying to move on which is what she wanted and to leave me alone. Also it should be known that I ran into a female friend I had known for awhile and one of her friends saw us together which I'm sure she knows. She also found out that I put a purchase offer in on a house contingent upon ours selling, she wants our sold.
Anyway, a friend of hers contacted me and told me that my other 1/2 was now depressed about all of this, having serious thoughts and had told the other guys she didn't want to see him for a few days because she had to think. Her friend suggested I call her with one last expression of my love and ask that we work things out. I debated about it but my emotions got the best of me and I called, we talked for 2 hours and there was emotion on both sides. However she said that she is still not ready and may never be. The next day I saw her back with this guy in his car.
I obviously blew it. She is having her cake and eat it too. Did I enable her to feel safe to see this guy again, letting her know I am still there for her? What should I do now? Resume plan B is my thought. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks.

Are you married to this woman? Do you have children? If not, move on with your life. If you are married file for D. At this point the real consequence of loosing you has to be real.

We are not married. We had an 11 year relationship, the last 7 living together in a house we purchased together. We have 2 children, 2 yrs old and 5 yrs old.

Your Plan B works! Keep it up and move on - your other half (albeit unmarried) doesn't want you, but then she doesn't want anyone else having you either - you see it all the time on these boards. She saw you moving on - EXACTLY like she wanted you to, then when you not only began moving on but quite obviously finding other folks to be with (friends or more) she couldn't take it - her goal is to have you 'in limbo': there for her to pick up and toss away at her leisure like a rag doll while she goes out and has a good time with whomever she pleases. NOT FAIR and certainly not balanced. Stick with Plan B and move on without her - you don't have a Marriage to try and save so it's best you move on.
Just my $.02 here.
Harold
PS - My ex-wife tried that crap with me too.

I agree with Dude.
My STBXH has had me on this roller coaster for the last 3 years.
She's obviously a very selfish person and hasn't thought all of this through.
This she must do alone. You can't do it for her.
I learned the hard way.
If you let her back now she will act like a child who has gotten away with something.
Stick with Plan B. If she calls you and says she's ended it and want's to come back, tell her you want to go to counseling with her first. Don't let her back until she agrees to spend some time showing you she is serious.
Sorry if I sound so absolute. I've been living this for too long. I hate to see someone else in my shoes.

Aly

Thanks, I agree. I just wish that I had not become weak after 2 weeks of obvious results. I should have maintained myself. Now she probably thinks "I've still got him" right when she began to think that she didn't.
I learned after I made my initial post that she got in her car with our kids when she had them(the oldest told me) and drove by the house I put a purchase offer on to look at it.
